Pragya is the student of DPM first year. She holds MBA in International Business from DAVV,Indore and BE in Instrumentation Engineering from BIST,Bhopal.Since the start of her career she is into academics and posses relevant experience of four and half years as lecturer in prestigious business schools and as an academic associate with IIM,Ahmedabad.
Her case “Japanese Acquisition in India’s Ranbaxy”(coauthored with Dr.Justin Paul)has received the Best Case Study Award in American Society for Competitiveness Conference, Tysons Corner, Virginia, 29-31 Oct. 2009.The Case is under Publication in ‘Competitiveness Review ‘an International Business Journal under Emerald Group Publishing Limited. She has given the review of the book “International Marketing Text and Cases” by Dr.Paul and Kapoor, published in the “Journal of Teaching in International Business” (Taylor and Francis), Vol 21(1), 2010.She has also presented papers in various national level conferences and attended MDPs at AMA.Her area of interest includes International Business and Strategic Management. |

Ms. Debjani R. Dass has completed her graduation with Botany Honors from the University of Calcutta, and Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources from BK School of Business Management, Gujarat University.
She has prior work experience of 8 years, comprising of 4 years in industry, and 4 years in academics. Debjani had been associated with IIM Ahmedabad as a Research Associate in the Centre for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship; she has worked as the Co-coordinator of MBA course in Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and has been part of various academic exercises in Gujarat University (GU) and Gujarat Technological University. She is also involved in teaching various courses in Gujarat University as a visiting faculty.
She has participated in many National and International conferences, both as part of the organizing team as well as presenting papers; ANVESH-2010 & 2011 (Nirma University), SOM (IIM-A), SIM (IIM-A), to name a few.

Abhishek is a mechanical engineer from IET – DAVV (2006) and MBA from IMS – DAVV (2008) with specialisation from finance. He has industry exposure of 22 months, mainly related to areas of project management, corporate development – merger and acquisition, ERP implementation (in record 100 days) and process optimisation. He has academic experience of 9 months where he dealt with subjects like business statistics, financial management and operation research. He is pursuing CFA level II and plans to research on investment decisions. |

Currently, she is in the third year of this programme, specializing in Economics. She has been the recipient of the Dr. R. N. Bagchi Memorial Trophy for securing highest grades in Economics at the university level. She has also been successfully involved with ANVESH - Nirma Conference for Doctoral Students held at the institute in April, 2010 and is currently involved with NICOM 2011 and ANVESH 2011. Jyoti Verma has been graduated from H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar and Post-graduate in Industrial Chemistry from Gurukul Kangri University, Hardwar. She is currently a final year Doctoral student in the area of Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource.
Prior to joining, she had work experience with Ranbaxy. She has done her Post-graduate summer internship (SI) at, Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, DRDO, New Delhi.
Apart from studies she has been actively involved in organization of Institutional Conferences and worked as student coordinator for ANVESH, the annual doctoral colloquium at IMNU. Her research interest lies in exploring Knowledge Management, Performance Management System, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development and Stress Management. Apart from this, she has attended many conferences at different reputed institutes. She has presented a paper on ‘Role of HR in Microfinance’ at EREC, IIM Indore in April 2010 and on ‘The Role of Customer Orientation as a Moderator of the Job Demand–Burnout–Performance Relationship’ at NICOM-2010, Institute of Management Nirma University and won first prize for that. |

Garima Kapoor

Profile :
My academic qualifications include a B.A. in Business Economics from Delhi University and a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics from Banasthali Vidyapeeth, Jaipur. At present, I am in the first year of this programme, specializing in Finance/Economics.
I have been an active participant in co-curricular activities at the post-graduate level including participating in a workshop on ‘Impact of IPR on Indian Industry’ , as well as a workshop on ‘Teacher’s education’, to name a few. I have also been a member of the committee for ANVESH, Nirma Conference for Doctoral Students held at the institute in March, 2005.
My research interests lies in the area of Market Efficiency, Real Options, Government Policy and behavior of money market. Besides, I am keenly interested in the field of Rural economics having assisted in a project on “Rural women: decision making power in determining the size of family”. |

Jayalakshmi Gopalkrishnan

I have Graduated in Physics honours, B.J.B College, Bhubaneswar, completed M.B.A in Marketing from Berhampur University, was a topper in Marketing specialization. I am on the verge of completion of a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from IIMM, Pune. I am in the first year of this Doctoral Programme, in the area of Marketing.
In the three years of corporate experience for about two years I worked with IDBI. I am a visiting faculty in the area of marketing, to Devi Ahilya University since last two years, also to many institutes under Utkal, Anna University and Annamalai University.
Before venturing into Academics I was a Co-Consultant to some Govt. funded projects by Unicef, Swiss Development Agency, worked out some Documentaries for Unicef, SIET. I am a freelance Journalist with some leading dailies, an Ad maker by interest. I was a part of the steering committee in NICOM, Nirma International Conference on Management.
My area of interest is Customer Relationship Management in the Banking Sector; it involves interdisciplinary research where concepts of marketing are used by banks enormously, also to study the reasons of ineffectiveness of its applications in many organizations. |

Darshan Parikh

I am B.E. (Chemical), M.B.A. (Marketing) and P.G.D.C.A. I am a Sun Certified Java Programmer (S.C.J.P.) and Microsoft Certified Professional (M.C.P.). Presently I am in the second year of DPM in marketing specialization.
I have published several articles in well-known journals like South Asian Journal of Management (an international journal) (forthcoming), Vikalpa-The Journal for Decision Makers (listed in EBSCO) (forthcoming) etc. I have also presented several papers in national and international conferences, which were published. I have published two books review in IIMB Management Review (listed in EBSCO).
I am the winner of the Indian Institute of Science-Prize “The Best Research Paper in Marketing” at COSMAR-2004. I was the co-convener for ANVESH, Nirma Conference for Doctoral Students held at the institute in March, 2005. I actively assisted in the publication of the proceedings of NICOM, Nirma International Conference on Management held in January, 2005.
I owned a software-hardware proprietary for one year, and have worked with Birla Sunlife Distrubution Limited for short duration. I have been a visiting faculty in various management institutes.
My research interests are diffusion of Internet shopping, use of B2C e-commerce in the betterment of human life, identification of potential Internet shoppers and exploration of intention-action gap in Internet shopping. |

Shilpa Surana

My academic qualifications include a B.A. in Psychology from St. Xavier’s college, Mumbai University and M.M.S (Masters in Management Studies-with specialization in HR) also from Mumbai University. At present, I am in the second year of this programme, specializing in HR/OB.
I have a number of publications to my credit including, a book review in the IIM-B Management Review (forthcoming), papers published in the conference proceedings of the First and Second AIMS International Conference on Management, GLOGIFT: Fourth Global Conference on Flexible Systems Management, to name a few. I have also participated and presented papers in a number of conferences at the Doctoral level.
I was the co-convener for ANVESH, Nirma Conference for Doctoral Students held at the institute in March, 2005 as well as a member of the Steering Committee for NICOM, Nirma International Conference on Management held in January, 2005. My research interest lies in the area of OB, specifically areas such as ‘Leadership’, ‘Motivation’, ‘Workplace Spirituality’, one of them to be further explored as my thesis topic for Ph.D. |

Pestonjee as my TAC members. I am having approximately 3 years of research experience and 1.6 years of PG teaching experience. I have written around 10 research papers, some of which are presented and published in national and international seminars/journals.
